Justin Bieber Tells Elementary School Kids

17-year-old popstar was named one of Do Something's most charitable celebrities of 2011. Last month, Bieber visited the underprivileged kids at Whitney Elementary School in Las Vegas, where he donated $100,000, gave every child a toy and performed a private concert in the school's gym -- and the "Ellen DeGeneres Show" got it all on tape.

We've all seen Bieber perform, but it was the Q&A session he did with his young fans that's truly heartwarming. Children know how to ask the questions that count, and we're glad one of them wanted to know what Bieber and his girlfriend Selena Gomez do on the weekends.

"We go to the movies...," he began before turning to a whisper, "... and we kiss."

The students of Whitney Elementary shrieked and giggled at his answer, as they did when he told them his favorite color was purple.

Whether you're a fan of Bieber's or not, it's undeniable how much joy he brought to these children. And before he left, Bieber had some wise parting words for the crowded room:

"It was a pleasure coming to your school and be nice to each other, treat others with respect and grow up to be people of character," he said.

December was a busy month for Bieber. In addition to his visit to the school, the singer returned home to Canada where spent time meeting fans and handing out canned goods at The Daily Bread Food Bank and presented the local Children's Wish Foundation with a check for $500,000.
