Camera Falls At Insight Bowl - Video

Friday night, no one could miss the overhead camera when it came crashing down to the field late in the fourth quarter, nearly taking out one of the players.

The ESPN camera narrowly missed Iowa receiver Martin McNutt Jr., who became entangled in the guide wire but wasn't hurt.

"First, I looked: What is it that fell from the sky?'" McNutt said after Iowa's 31-14 loss to No. 19 Oklahoma. "The next thing I know, the camera kind of scratched me a little bit. It was just pulling me and I knew I didn't want to keep going with it."

ESPN has consistently used the cameras for football coverage, making it a staple of "Monday Night Football." The cameras also have been used occasionally in the NBA, NHL, NASCAR, NCAA basketball, baseball and at the island-green 17th hole at the TPC Sawgrass during The Players Championship.

The cameras, despite flying over the playing field, have rarely interfered with the action.

In 2007, a cable camera was forced to make a controlled descent during an NFL game between the New Orleans Saints and the Seattle Seahawks from what was called human error.

At the 2009 Las Vegas bowl between BYU and Oregon State, the overhead camera reportedly had to be taken down due to wind gusts of around 40 mph.

Russell Brand Files for Divorce from Katy Perry - Full Video

Russell Brand has filed for divorce from Katy Perry ... TMZ has learned.

In the docs, filed in L.A., Brand cites "irreconcilable differences." The two were married Oct. 23, 2010 in India. They have no kids.

The divorce docs say there are "community property assets" -- it's a sign there might not be a prenup, or if there is one it doesn't cover all of the earnings and other assets they accumulated.

The docs do not give a date the couple separated.

Russell has released a statement, claiming, "Sadly, Katy and I are ending our marriage. I'll always adore her and I know we'll remain friends."

Russell proposed to Katy in India on New Year's Eve 2009 -- nearly two years ago ... to the day.

The couple's split comes just four weeks after Brand declared his relationship was going strong.

He told Ellen DeGeneres on December 2: 'I'm really happily married. I’m married to Katy. Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge. I’m still alive.'

In November, Perry told the same TV host that that she 'would love to have children' with Brand.

She said: 'I think that's one of the reasons you get married, especially to the person that you marry. You think: "That person is going to be a good partner, a good parent.'''

Asked if she wanted a big family, Perry added: 'If it doesn't hurt the first time I'll keep popping them out.'

But there was clearly trouble brewing when the pair decided to spend Christmas apart, allegedly after a huge row.

A source was quoted as telling Us Weekly magazine: 'They had a massive fight. She was like, "F*** you. I'm going to do my own thing."

Meanwhile the insider said that Russell replied: 'Fine, f*** you too.'

The couple had planned Christmas together and Perry was expected to jet her family in a private plane over to the UK to celebrate.

In November, Brand's mother Barbara had tweeted she was looking forward to spending the festive season with her son and daughter-in-law.

She wrote on Twitter: 'Spoke to Russell and Katy, they are so happy, it's lovely. We will all be together for Christmas.'

The California-born star began dating the British comedian in 2009 after she famously threw a bottle at his head at an MTV Music Awards party.

He proposed just four months later on New Year's Eve and they were married in October last year.

Sean Warner Arrested

14-year-old Alaska girl was in critical condition days after a 26-year-old man injected her with heroin at his Anchorage home, authorities said Tuesday.

Sean Warner is charged with a drug-related felony and other counts. Court documents say he tried to revive the girl himself and didn't immediately call police.

"Her condition is dire," Assistant District Attorney Regan Williams said Tuesday, adding the girl was on an artificial respirator. "The real sadness is that there's not that much brain activity."

The girl was taken to an Anchorage hospital Friday with a drug overdose, police said. Charging documents say the girl, identified only as J.D., was found to have heroin, cocaine and methamphetamine in her system. Medics told authorities she had sustained damage to her brain and heart.

Charging documents say the type of heroin used is known on the street at "China White."

Police said the drug tends to be more potent than the more common tar heroin. It is sold in powder form and can be cut with varying ingredients in varying amounts, said Sgt. Kathy Lacey, who heads the Anchorage Police Department's vice unit.

"The problem is you don't know what it's cut with," Lacey said. "You have no idea what you're getting."

When asked where the girl's parents were that night, Williams indicated she was not living at home and doesn't come from a "typical family environment." He declined to elaborate.

Ron Paul CNN Interview - Full Video

CNN surfaced on Sunday, and has raised questions about whether or not the network may have unfairly edited the interview.

Paul was interviewed by CNN's Gloria Borger last week. During the version that aired on CNN, Borger asked Paul about controversial newsletters from the 1980s and 90s that were published under his name. Paul seemed to grow frustrated by Borger's questions. The candidate took off his mic while Borger was still speaking and abruptly ended the interview.

The unedited version that surfaced on Sunday seemingly caused some viewers and Paul supporters to draw a different conclusion about how the interview ended.

The unedited version shows that the interview seemed to have lasted more than eight minutes. As The Hill pointed out, Borger interviewed Paul about a number of topics. While Paul was clearly frustrated, he answered questions about the newsletters for "almost three minutes before walking off, and that the interview was likely over." Paul supporters have been criticizing the network for what they believe was an unfair editing job by CNN.

Man Dressed As Santa Kills 6 Relatives, Police Say

Monday to piece together a family history after a man dressed in a Santa Claus suit apparently shot six relatives and himself on Christmas.

Grapevine police spokesman Sgt. Robert Eberling said the shooter showed up in the costume shortly before gunfire erupted and that the family appeared to have been opening Christmas presents. Police responding to a 911 call found four females and three males dead. They also found two handguns.

"We think he was just inside there celebrating Christmas with the rest of them and decided for whatever reason that's how he's going to end things," Eberling told The Associated Press.

Investigators worked through Sunday night and into Monday morning, meticulously searching the apartment where the bodies were found, along with vehicles parked outside. Police said they believe the victims were related, though some were visiting and didn't live in the apartment.

Rex Ryan Is A Very Disrespectful Bastard - Full Video

I would assume there was plenty of trash talk during the game. And of course, there was plenty of trash talk after the game.

Following the Giants' win over the Jets in the Battle of New York, Giants running back Brandon Jacobs had some harsh words for Jets head coach Rex Ryan, telling ESPN that he 'is a very disrespectful bastard."

"I'm glad we came out here and gave it to him," he said. "I wish I could have got a change to go over there on that sideline, but I never got a chance to get over there. That's just how they do things. They're disrespectful."

According to several reports, there was a brief altercation between Jacobs and Ryan as well.

Jacobs also told the New York Daily News that he told Ryan to "shut the f*** up" (via ProFootballTalk). He also said Ryan responded by yelling, "Go f*** yourself."

"I said I would punch him in his face," Jacobs said, per Newsday. "I told him, 'Out of all of these Giants football players on the team, you're talking to the wrong one."

However, according to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star Ledger, Jacobs told Ryan, "It's time to shut up, fat boy."

Nigeria Christmas Attacks Kill At Least 25

Nigeria's capital Sunday, killing at least 25 people, officials said. A radical Muslim sect claimed the attack and another bombing near a church in the restive city of Jos, as explosions also struck the nation's northeast.

The Christmas Day attacks show the growing national ambition of the sect known as Boko Haram, which is responsible for at least 491 killings this year alone, according to an Associated Press count. The assaults come a year after a series of Christmas Eve bombings in Jos claimed by the militants left at least 32 dead and 74 wounded.

In Jos, a second explosion struck near a Mountain of Fire and Miracles Church, government spokesman Pam Ayuba said. Ayuba said gunmen later opened fire on police guarding the area, killing one police officer. Two other locally made explosives were found in a nearby building and disarmed, he said.

"The military are here on ground and have taken control over the entire place," Ayuba said.

The city of Jos is located on the dividing line between Nigeria's predominantly Christian south and Muslim north. Thousands have died in communal clashes there over the last decade.

After the bombings, a Boko Haram spokesman using the nom de guerre Abul-Qaqa claimed responsibility for the attacks in an interview with The Daily Trust, the newspaper of record across Nigeria's Muslim north. The sect has used the newspaper in the past to communicate with public.

Study Reveals More Teen Girls Having Same-Sex Contact

A new analysis of the U.S. National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG) has revealed some surprising shifts in the sexual activity of teenage girls over the past decade, including a significant spike among those who claim to have had same-sex contact.

A comparison of 2002 NSFG data to figures from 2006-2008 showed that 11 percent of 17-year-old girls in the latter pool had engaged in contact with other girls, compared with just five percent in 2002. Furthermore, those same girls also claim to have been significantly less heterosexually active, at just 46 percent in 2006-2008, whereas the 2002 survey found 63 percent of girls in the same age group had been active.

The decrease in heterosexual activity could, at least in part, account for another one of the survey's findings: a slight drop (18 percent to 12 percent) in the number of 17-year-girls who have been pregnant. "Factors that may account for this drop include our findings that more were waiting until later in adolescence to become heterosexually involved, more were using emergency contraception if they were heterosexually active, and perhaps even that more were engaging in same-sex behavior," Dr. Nanette Gartrell, NSFG lead author, is quoted as saying by the Windy City Times. "It will be interesting to see if the next cycle of NSFG data collection reveals whether these changes are a long-term trend."

Obama Defies Congress On Czars, Gitmo

President Obama left town Friday for vacation not only pocketing a victory on the payroll tax, but leaving behind a message of defiance for Congress.

In signing the bill to fund the government for the rest of the fiscal year, the commander in chief also issued a "signing statement" in which he rejected several provisions of the bill, including attempts to take away his czars.

Buried deep in the $1 trillion measure are four provisions in section 627 that say the White House may not use any of the money to fund salaries or expenses for the head of Obama's health reform office, his energy and climate adviser, his car czar, or the head of his urban affairs office.

But Friday, Obama essentially said 'too bad' in issuing a dense, legalistic statement that explains what he won't accept in the bill.

"Several provisions in this bill, including section 627 of Division C and section 512 of Division D, could prevent me from fulfilling my constitutional responsibilities, by denying me the assistance of senior advisers and by obstructing my supervision of executive branch officials in the execution of their statutory responsibilities," Obama wrote. "I have informed the Congress that I will interpret these provisions consistent with my constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed."

Syrian Troops Reportedly Attacked Town, Killed At Least 100

Tuesday pushed the death toll for two days of violence across Syria to more than 200, and was one of the deadliest single events of the entire nine-month uprising against President Bashar Assad's authoritarian rule.

The offensive targeted the village of Kfar Owaid, about 30 miles from the northern border with Turkey. It is part of the rugged mountainous region of Jabal al-Zawiyah, which has been the scene of clashes between troops and army defectors and intense anti-government protests for weeks. Syrian troops began attacking the region on Saturday, residents said.

"It was an organized massacre," said Rami Abdul-Rahman, head of the British-based activist group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. "The troops surrounded people then killed them."

Syrian officials have not commented on the allegations.

One villager who is an anti-government activist told The Associated Press by telephone that scores of residents and activists fled Tuesday morning to the nearby Budnaya Valley, where they were completely surrounded by troops. The forces bombarded them with tank shells, rockets and heavy machine gun fire. The man, who identified himself only as Abu Rabih for fear of government reprisal, said troops also used bombs filled with nails to increase the number of casualties.

"What happened yesterday was a crime against humanity," Abu Rabih said. He said 110 people were killed in the attack and 56 of the dead were buried in Kfar Owaid on Wednesday. Others were buried in villages nearby.

Abu Rabih said the Jabal al-Zawiyah region has been under intense attack by government forces since Saturday.

Assad agreed Monday to allow foreign monitors under an Arab League plan aimed at stopping the bloodshed. But the huge toll from the crackdown on Monday and Tuesday has reinforced opposition suspicions that Assad is just playing for time to stall a new round of international condemnation and sanctions. The crackdown has already left Assad internationally isolated and under tremendous pressure from the Arab world as well as the west.

Woman Gives Birth In Truck During Snowstorm

Tuesday, LeFevre just had his hands, some jackets and shoelaces.

It was enough.

His wife, Elizabeth, gave birth to a 6-pound, 11-ounce baby girl inside the truck on Old Las Vegas Highway between Canoncito and Santa Fe, The Santa Fe New Mexican reported (). The family is well enough to go home to Canoncito on Wednesday.

The pains intensified enough that by 2 a.m., LeFevre, her husband Russell and their 3-year-old daughter loaded into a truck driven by her brother-in-law and headed for the hospital. They took the highway because Interstate 25 was shut down amid blizzard conditions.

"We got like two miles down the highway, and I told him there was probably no chance we were going to make it to the hospital," Elizabeth LeFevre said. "As soon as I said that, my water broke."

Russell LeFevre said that when he checked his wife after her water broke, the baby was already halfway out. The other half of the baby came out in minutes.

"I turned her (the baby) to the side and gave her a little back slap, and she coughed up some goop, and I wrapped her up in a jacket," he said.

I was totally unprepared to deliver a baby in my truck," he said. "I had shoelaces instead of clamps, and I was wiping out her mouth with my finger instead of a suction bulb. It was pretty wild."

During the birth, Russell LeFevre's brother Neil was on the phone with an emergency dispatch operator, who had been talking the family through the birth. The operator advised them to tie off the baby's umbilical cord with a shoelace.

After the baby was born, the family headed for a fire station near Eldorado, but no one answered when they banged on the door. They then approached a state police officer who gave them blankets and called an ambulance to take them to Christus St. Vincent.

The pair named the baby Joanna Mallory LeFevre.

Russell LeFevre said his 3-year-old daughter, Renee, was "so good" during the whole ordeal and tried to comfort his wife through her labor pains by patting her on the head and telling her, "It's going to be OK."

"It was amazing," Russell LeFevre said. "We got her into the ambulance and the paramedic said we did a great job. The baby was healthy and pink and crying."

College Basketball Player Sucker Puches Rival

Monday night had the potential to equal it after a sucker punch was thrown and players flooded the court.

As Golden Eagles guard LaShay Page lofted a 3-pointer, teammate Torye Pelham tried to box out Arizona State's Ruslan Pateev. But Pelham appeared to let his emotions get the best of him and delivered a forearm to Pateev's chin. After Page's shot fell true, Pelham began jogging back to play defense, but Pateev retaliated by grabbing his jersey and punching him in the back of the head.

Both benches cleared and the players had to be separated. Fortunately, those who came charging toward the fight did so as peacemakers rather than escalators. The scuffle was mercifully brief and both players were ejected, along with Southern Mississippi's Ahyaoro Phillips for leaving the bench.

As if a fight and a trio of ejections wasn't enough to make the game memorable, Southern Miss. would go on to win in amazing fashion as senior Darnell Dodson hit a game-winning 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Woman Burns To Death After Man Sets Her On Fire

Saturday afternoon after a man ambushed her, sprayed her with liquid and set her afire with a Molotov cocktail, police said.

The unidentified man was waiting for the woman, who was in her 60s, when the elevator doors opened to her floor of the Prospect Heights building. The man sprayed her with an accelerant and set her on fire, New York City police spokesman Paul Browne said.

"It was apparent he knew she was on the elevator," he said.

The brutal attack happened shortly after 4 p.m., lasted about a minute and was recorded by two video cameras, including one inside the small elevator.

As the elevator doors opened to the fifth floor where the woman's apartment was located, the assailant stepped in and sprayed the woman, Browne said.

The woman, who had grocery bags in her arms, turned about 180 degrees and then crouched in an attempted to protect herself, he said. But the man sprayed her directly in the face and continued to spray her "sort of methodically" over her head and parts of her body as the bags draped off her arms. She turned around and retreated to the back of the elevator.

At some point, Browne said, the suspect then pulled out a barbeque-style lighter, used it to ignite a rag in a bottle and then waited for a few seconds before using the flames to set her afire, causing smoke to fill the elevator.

The man backed out as the woman fell to the floor of the elevator, Browne said, and seemed to pause before tossing the bottle inside the elevator onto the woman.

Browne would not comment on the motive in the killing, but said the suspect knew his victim. Police did not identify the woman pending notification of relatives.

Slim Dunkin Dead : 'A Star' Killed Before His Time In The ATL - Full Video

Atlanta police say the rapper Slim Dunkin was gunned down Friday evening in a city music studio as he was preparing to record a video.

Police Maj. Keith Meadows said the rapper, whose real name is Mario Hamilton, was fatally shot in the chest after getting into an argument with another individual.

He was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Meadows told The Associated Press late Friday that police have not been able to identify the shooter. He said investigators have been interviewing those who were inside the studio. He said as many as 20 people were inside the small office-type building at the time of the shooting, which took place around 5:30 p.m., but they were in different places.

Police have not recovered the handgun that was used. Investigators remained at the scene late Friday evening.

Meadows said the victim was in his early 20s and resided in the Atlanta area.

Many fans were posting messages late Friday night on a Facebook page for the rapper.

The website AllHipHop.com last February described Slim Dunkin, a Detroit native, as an up-and-coming talent with "a unique lyrical ability and style all his own."

Ron Paul money bomb 2011

In the Sioux City spin room, after last night's debate, rival campaigns were surprisingly eager to praise Ron Paul. "Ron Paul could win Iowa," mused Stuart Stevens, a top adviser to Romney. "Ron Paul's a factor, and he will do well," said Gingrich spokesman R.C. Hammond. "The people who support him are going to come out. They've been working on that for four years."

You can read this between the lines. If Paul wins the caucuses, and Romney loses them again, the political press is ready to declare the whole process a waste. Chris Wallace said as much on Fox. That would be good, in the aggregate, for Romney. If would be a wash for Gingrich -- winning would be better, but coming in second to Paul would get him crowned the "real" winner of the caucuses. (I don't write these rules. Blame the people who trumpeted McGovern in 1972 after he lost narrowly to Muskie in New Hampshire.)

But when I talked to Republicans who didn't have a horse in the race, I heard something completely different -- air coming out of the Paul balloon. They argued that Paul had blown his shot at winning the caucuses by allowing himself to spend nearly five minutes discussing the complete lack of existential foreign policy threats, and the ease with which America could blow off its bogeyman. It went by quickly, but here's the transcript of the moment, according to these doubters, that Paul wandered off the golf course.

Justin Bieber Stages Concert At Las Vegas

Friday morning for an east Las Vegas elementary school known for providing needy students' families with food, clothes, money for utility bills – and just about everything in between.

The 17-year-old star's concert, featuring songs from his holiday album "Under the Mistletoe," at Whitney Elementary School comes after the singer pledged to donate $100,000 to the school.

After Bieber announced the gift and concert on a Nov. 1 episode of "The Ellen Degeneres Show," the hundreds of students watching the taping from a multi-purpose room at their Las Vegas school erupted into screams and cheers. One girl is seen jumping up and down, and school officials say some of the students burst into tears of joy.

"For the kids, it shows that someone loves them and cares about them to follow up," Principal Sherrie Gahn told the Las Vegas Sun after the taping. "When you live in an existence where everything seems so hopeless, it's an amazing gift they will never forget. It's beyond their wildest dreams."

Whitney Elementary was first featured on "The Ellen Degeneres Show" in September. The episode highlighted how the school provides a food pantry, clothes closet, free haircuts and literacy training for students' families.

14-Year-Old Tased In Groin - Full Video

14-year-old student, outside Dieruff High School in September, edited surveillance video has been entered as evidence as a part of a federal lawsuit filed against the officer, the The Morning Call reports.

The video appears to show the girl raising her arms mere seconds before officer Jason Ammary fired the gun, causing the girl to collapse on the street.

According to the report, before the incident, the school was "having problems" with students being "disorderly" at school dismissal. Attorney Richard J. Orloski has filed a lawsuit on behalf of the girl's mother claiming excessive force, but police told The Morning Call that Ammary was right to use the taser due to the "use-of-force continuum."

NBC Philadelphia summarizes the video before the tasing, but notes there is one minute and 40 seconds missing from the tape

Syria Death Toll Passes 5,000

5,000 people have been killed in nine months of unrest in Syria, the U.N. human rights chief said, as an insurgency began to overshadow what had initially been street protests against President Bashar al-Assad's 11-year rule.

Navi Pillay reported the death toll to the U.N. Security Council as 1,000 higher than the previous toll just 10 days ago. It includes civilians, army defectors and those executed for refusing to shoot civilians, but not soldiers or security personnel killed by opposition forces, she said.

The Syrian government has said more than 1,100 members of the army, police and security services have been killed.

Syria's actions could constitute crimes against humanity, said Pillay, issuing a fresh call for the council to refer the situation to the International Criminal Court.

"It was the most horrifying briefing that we've had in the Security Council over the last two years," British Ambassador Mark Lyall Grant said after the session, which was arranged despite opposition from Russia, China and Brazil.

The sharp rise in the death toll is bound to lend weight to those arguing for increased international intervention to stop the bloodshed in Syria.

Assad, 46, whose minority Alawite family has held power over majority Sunni Muslim Syria for four decades, faces the most serious challenge to his rule from the turmoil which erupted in the southern city of Deraa on March 18.

Drunk Toronto couple arrested for having sex Video

Sunday afternoon after having sex on a southbound subway train.

“At about 2:30 p.m., a couple was seen by other passengers engaged in intercourse on the train,” said TTC spokesman Brad Ross.

Making no attempts to be discreet, the amorous couple soon prompted a fellow passenger to press the subway’s yellow emergency strip, which brought the train to a stop at Spadina Station. It took 14 minutes for police to arrive.

In the meantime, as trains all along the north end of the University line snarled to halt, the couple staggered onto the platform to continue. The final seconds of their romantic entanglement were captured in a cellphone video now posted online. The face of the woman is not shown, although the man, whose pants are around his ankles, appears to be in his 20s.

After arresting the couple and charging them with engaging in a lewd act, police brought them to a hospital because “they both appeared to be quite intoxicated,” said Mr. Ross.

Subway sex has likely happened before, said Mr. Ross, but never on his watch. “I’ve never seen a report like this before, but that just means that nobody’s been caught,” he said.

In a series of public posts to the BlogTO website on Monday, other riders claimed to have witnessed oral sex on the TTC. On the GO Train, there are rumours of a “Corridor Club” where commuters have sex in train bathrooms.

UFC 140 Fight Results - Full Video

Jon Jones defeats Lyoto Machida

Jones passed the toughest test of his MMA career in flying colors, surviving a few tough moments early in the fight. Jones looked better in the second round, finally getting Machida on the ground and inflicting some damage. Later on in the round, Jones secured a standing guillotine, putting the "Dragon" to sleep.

Frank Mir defeats Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira

After getting rocked early in the fight, Mir pulled off a beautiful reversal as Nogueira tried to take his back. Mir secured a kimura in the process, while Nogueira tried to roll out of it. Mir held on to the arm lock, breaking Nogueira's arm and securing the tap.

Antonio Rogerio Nogueira defeats Tito Ortiz

Tito came out swinging, but it was "Lil Nog" that landed the more telling blows. After softening up Tito with a barrage of hooks, Nogueira sent him to the ground with a vicious knee to the body. Nogueira followed up with some brutal ground-and-pound, eventually forcing referee Yves Lavigne to stop the fight.

Brian Ebersole defeats Claude Patrick

Both men had their moments during their UFC 140 encounter. Ebersole took the first round, but Patrick evened things out in the second round. I gave the third round to Patrick (I'm a little partial to submission attempts), but the Octagon-side judges gave Ebersole the split decision.

Chan Sung Jung defeats Mark Hominick

Jung made UFC history with his TKO victory over Hominick, dropping him with his very first punch and following up with some ground-and pound. With the win, Jung is now tied with MMA veteran Todd Duffee for the quickest stoppage in UFC history (seven seconds).

Undercard:

Igor Pokrajac defeats Krzysztof Soszynski (KO, round one)

Constantinos Philippou defeats Jared Hamman (KO, round one)

Dennis Hallman defeats John Makdessi (rear-naked choke, round one)

Yves Jabouin defeats Walel Watson (split decision)

Mark Bocek defeats Nik Lentz (unanimous decision)

Jake Hecht defeats Rich Attonito (TKO, round two)

John Cholish defeats Mitch Clarke (TKO, round two)

Jennifer Aniston Named 'Sexiest Woman

Jennifer Aniston is sexy, but according to a new poll, she's the sexiest woman of all time.

Men's Health took a poll ranking 100 of the hottest women in history -- a tough job, we're sure -- and Aniston came in at No. 1 spot. However, the "Horrible Bosses" actress can think of two other women she thinks are the sexiest.

"It's a tie between Bridgette Bardot and Gloria Steinem," she told Men's Health. "But if I had to choose one, I'd say Gloria because, well, she's the full package. That's sexy."

Colt McCoy Hit By James Harrison

Thursday night's Steelers-Browns game, Cleveland quarterback Colt McCoy sustained the kind of devastating helmet-to-helmet blow that chills even the most hardened NFL fan.

As seen in the video above -- which requires a strong stomach to watch -- McCoy rolls left out of the pocket and dumps the ball to his running back a split second before being nearly decapitated by Pittsburgh linebacker James Harrison. McCoy lay flat on his back for minutes after the play, occasionally flailing his arms and legs in either pain or confusion. Harrison, who'd been leading with his helmet, was flagged for a personal foul.

What the video doesn't show is an equally shocking development just three plays later: McCoy returning to the huddle, hoping to lead the Browns out of a 7-3 deficit. Instead, he soon threw an interception, essentially sealing the Steelers' 14-3 win.

The NFL is still trying to figure out how to deal with its concussion problem, as well as the unknown number of players who have suffered brain damage. Cleveland coach Pat Shurmur's call to put McCoy back out on the field raises an important question: Could a shaken McCoy even be capable of making clear-headed decisions in the interest of his own health?

Lingerie Football Players In PETA Ad

Lingerie Football League are no strangers to competing in scantily clad outfits when on the field.

But now members of the Toronto Triumph team are devoting their bodies to tackling another matter -- by stripping down in PETA's latest anti-fur ad campaign.

Covered by a helmet, football and a couple of shoulder pads, four players bare it all with the field as their backdrop.

In a behind the scenes video released in conjunction with the new ad, the players urge people to refrain from buying fur.

"When you wear that fur jacket you don't ever really think about, 'What happened to this animal for me to be putting this on?'" said one Toronto Triumph player in the video.

The athletes didn't just pose for the ad, they also took part in a PETA demonstration at Toronto's Eaton Center earlier this week. They appeared in their uniforms with signs that read, "Tackle Cruelty: Bench Fur," to encourage people to leave fur off their holiday shopping lists.

"Wearing fur is a personal foul," PETA Campaigner Emily Lavender said in a press statement. "With so many stylish, warm, and durable fabrics available today, there's no excuse for wearing anyone's skin."

Virginia Tech Shooting - Full Video

Thursday, according to university officials. The incident took place on the same campus where the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history occurred back in 2007.

In a statement posted on its website, the school reported that shortly after noon, a Virginia Tech police officer made a traffic stop. The officer was then shot and killed, according to witnesses.

During a press conference Thursday afternoon, authorities said the gunman was not believed to have been involved in the traffic stop.

At the press conference, school officials and law enforcement authorities declined to identify the second person found dead as the gunman. However a law enforcement source speaking on the condition of anonymity told The Associated Press that the second body is believed to be the remains of the suspect.

Following the shootings, the campus was put on lockdown and students were urged to remain indoors. At 4:31 p.m., the lockdown was lifted.

The suspect is described a white male, wearing "gray sweat pants, gray hat w/neon green brim, maroon hoodie and backpack," according to a 12:47 p.m. tweet from the university's VT Alerts notification system.

Lindsay Lohan's Playboy Cover Leaked!

Lindsay Lohan's Dec. 15, interview on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" to get a sneak peek of her Playboy pics.

The troubled starlet's "very classy" Playboy cover leaked online today and we have to say she looks pretty good.

The 25-year-old rocks a vintage-glam look, which manages to avoid the campiness of turning her into a Marilyn Monroe look-alike, and is seen straddling a bunny-shaped chair that strategically covers her private parts.

Yesterday a publicist for the magazine announced that Lindsay would only be doing one interview to promote her pictorial. The 'leaked' cover has us wondering if this is Playboy's way of making up for their cover girl's lack of promotional appearances.

Tom Cruise: Indian Fans Paid To Be Excited Report Completely False

Tom Cruise and Paramount Pictures vehemently rejected published reports that residents of Mumbai were paid to cheer and act excited for the cameras when the actor arrived in the Indian city on Saturday to promote his new movie.

"Tom Cruise is a massive star and attracts huge throngs of fans as he travels the world promoting 'Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol,'" a spokesperson for Paramount said in a statement to The Huffington Post. "The only people paid were performers who danced outside the venue. The idea that fans were paid to cheer is completely ludicrous and entirely false."

A report in First Post Bollywood claimed that 200 or more extras were each given about 150 rupees -- the equivalent of $3 -- and a free lunch to mimic enthusiasm for Cruise's arrival in the city.

A source close to Cruise told The Huffington Post that confusion over payments made to dancers who performed at the event may have given rise to the false reports. The source called the charge of fan-planting "ludicrous" and "insulting" to the actor's Indian devotees, who greeted him for photos at every opportunity.

“Tom kaun? [Tom who?] I don’t know who he is or what he does," an unnamed "artiste" told First Post Bollywood. "We were told to come here by 1pm today and wait for a foreign VIP to come out of the airport gate and scream and shout when he came. None of us know who Tom is. There was a buffet lunch also for us and we were paid Rs 150 for this job today. We do this for television shows and other such events where crowds are required."

The blonde Victoria's Secret model lip syncs to Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You" in a new holiday preview video for LOVE magazine, toying with her green sweater and frolicking for the camera.

LOVE is posting the videos as a digital Advent calendar (Alessandra Ambrosio also stars in one), although we've never seen an Advent calendar quite, uh, like this.

Maybe Doutz will be busting out those sexy dance moves for the astronauts on her upcoming literal flight to outer space? That would be one lucky flight crew.

Brooke Fantelli, California Transgender Woman

Brooke Fantelli, who is apparently a well-known figure in the off-road racing community, was allegedly stopped by a ranger while in the midst of a photo shoot in the Imperial County desert.

Though the 43-year-old Fantelli had been living as a woman for some time, she had been told by her physician that she needed to live two full years as a female before she could change her California identification. Only when the ranger saw Brooke’s identification card did the hostile interaction begin, according to the report.

Fantelli said the ranger went from referring to her as "ma'am," "her," and "she" to “sir,” "him," and eventually "dude." She said she was eventually told by the ranger that she was being arrested for being drunk in public after consuming beer (Fantelli claims she had two and a half beers, the officer said she had four) before finally being subjected to the excessive force.

"He actually looked me straight in the eye and says, 'You used to be a guy,' and I said, 'Yes, I did.' There was no way around it. I could see it in his eyes. He wanted to do that," Fantelli, who is heard audibly screaming in the video, told San Diego's 10News last month. She went on to note, "It was obvious. He hated me."
