Luke Brian rocks 'Country Girl (Shake It For Me)' for 2011 CMT Music Awards

Luke Bryan was on hand at the 2011 CMT Music Awards to perform his new hit "Country Girl (Shake It For Me)" off his new album "Tailgates & Tanlines," which is due out Aug. 9, 2011. It will be Luke's third studio album since bursting onto the country scene in 2007.

"Country Girl" is his eleventh single in his career and we thought he pretty much rocked it at the CMT Music Awards. The back up dancers weren't too shabby either. YOu can see Luke Bryan again on CMT's "Crossroads" show June 24 with the Doobie Brothers. The two acts will perform hits including "Black Water," "Long Train Running," "Country Girl" and "Do I."

Luke is also the headliner of the 10th annual CMT Tour with special guests Lee Brice and Josh Thompson. The tour kicks off in September with 25 shows around the country.

Ludacris To Perform With Jason Aldean At CMT Music Awards 2011 Live Performance (VIDEO)

Country cutie Jason Aldean took to the 2011 CMT Music Awards stage with rapper Ludacris for "Dirt Road Anthem," the third single off Aldean's 2010 studio album "My Kinda Party."

It is actually a re-recording of the song, as it was first released by country rapper Colt Ford for his 2008 album "Ride Through the Country," with Brantley Gilbert on vocals. Gilbert later recorded his own version.

But the Jason Aldean/Ludacris version is the hit, peaking at the no. 9 spot on the Country Billboard chart. What did you think? Pretty awesome? We thought it was a great way to end the awards show.

Shania Twain Responds to CMT Music Awards Fall (Video)

Shania Twain has spoken up about her nasty fall at the 10th Annual CMT Music Awards on Wednesday night, June 8. In a video she posted on her WhoSay account shortly after the incident, the country pop singer assures her fans that she didn't hurt herself, but is thinking about auctioning off the shoes she wore to the awards show.

Calling the fall on live television "one of life's most embarrassing moments", the 45-year-old singer goes on to say that she doesn't want to see the shoes ever again. Still, she clearly hasn't made up her mind on what to do with the shoes since she is quick to add that she may keep them as souvenirs instead.

Shania took a hard tumble on the floor when she was making her way to the stage inside the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee to present Male Video of the Year. Although she looked to be in pain after the spill, the "From This Moment On" hitmaker recovered quickly and laughed at the mishap.

The five-time Grammy Award winner kicked off the awards show with a parody of "Thelma and Louise". Channeling her outlaw side, she pre-recorded the clip with country beauty Taylor Swift. In her response video for the fall, the singer mentioned a little bit about the sketch when she joked that she doesn't need a stunt double
